Here’s another recycling idea:
Linda found some leftover 8” ladder mesh rebar and created a graceful arch for cardinal flower vine to climb. She stuck each end of the mesh rebar into the soil shaping an arch. Next she planted cardinal flower vine seeds on one side of the base as they grow vigorously. The seeds sprouted quickly and the floral arches made lovely focal points at the end of our corn rows. The hummingbirds visited the cardinal flowers, too!
